My new favorite thing

I wish I didn't have a job so I could enjoy my new favorite thing:
Wal-Mart during the day on a weekday.

I'm currently enjoying a 4 day weekend (off today and tomorrow from work), and since it had been 2 weeks since I had gone to Wal-Mart it was high time I went. I usually hate going and have found a window of time on Sunday that usually works out pretty well, but it's still fairly busy.

But today, a Thursday, at 2pm in the afternoon...ah, it was amazing. No waiting at the deli counter, no lines at the checkout, and no traffic jams in the aisles. There was a larger amount of those little electric scooter cart things going around so that's a drawback but I've learned to avoid them pretty well since I got run over by one of those once, no joke. It happened in Wal-Mart, of course. That was scary. Anyway, that's a story for a different time.

So yeah, too bad I'm usually at work on 2pm on Thursdays. I sure would be a lot nicer coming out of that place if I had the experience I had today.

Tomorrow I'm working on several projects. High on the priority list: Homecoming pictures. So coming soon, I promise.
