Well, we did it. We almost sprained our wrists in the process, but we signed all the papers and got the keys to our very first home.
We survived the first night with the bare necessities, but no blinds - I guess blinds could be a necessity, but we don't have them yet. We won't give you our address so that you don't come peeking =o)
We had our first guests come by this morning - Dana, my roommate for 6 years and Jay, Caroline, and Emma Claire. Emma Claire was very curious about the outlets - she's deprived of the ability to stick her fingers in them at her house...
We got our fridge today and of course, with drama. The first one had a gash in the side, so Mark sent it back. The second one is installed, cold, and making ice - empty, but functioning.
Well, off to cleaning cabinets and baseboards.
