Curtains, Door, and More

Curtains
After I posted the pictures of the bedroom curtains, I remembered that I hadn't posted pictures of the other window treatments. The only room left is the living room (arguably the most important one, too). We just (this weekend) found some curtain rods we liked, so when the curtains are ready and up I'll post pictures.
So here are the ones that we do have up:

The dining room - the only curtains in the house that I didn't sew (we found a great deal on the panels). I'm sorry you can't really tell what color they are - they're a deep burgundy/wine.

If you look closely, you'll see the upholstery we put on the chairs, too. The chairs were just plain wooden seats - pretty, but not very comfortable, so we bought foam and fabric and covered them.

The guest bedroom.

And the matching accent pillow.

The master bathroom (I made the ribbon detail to match our shower curtain).

The office - our theme in this room is architecture, so when I found this fabric shower curtain, I decided it would be perfect to transform into window panels (I cut the shower curtain in half and added the black section at the bottom). We'll also frame some of Mark's drafting from his days at LeTourneau.

A close up of the design.

Door

I've always wanted a red door...and now I do...(but not without working really hard for it - yuck!)

More
I really don't have much more to say (it just sounded good in the title...). Well, I guess some stuff did happen this weekend: Mark put up a fan in the guest room and we found an armoire for the living room, which brings a 6 month search to an end...ahhhh....
