What we've been up to...

Well, there's a reason why we haven't posted...we've been busy...no, really....=o)

Mark is working on a HUGE project at work and the deadline is tomorrow so I don't need to say anything more about that.

I've been working on a project at home. I have never painted before. Sure, I've painted houses and doors and stuff, but I've never painted canvases. Needless to say, I was intimidated, but I (finally) painted the canvases in the kitchen. And because I know you would want to see pictures, here they are:

I've already started on the next painting, the one in our bedroom. It's "almost" finished (I've discovered with that one, which is more of a landscape painting, that you could really never be done - you could just always be finding something else to add or retouch). Anyway, I'm about to "call it done" so when I do, I'll post pictures of it.

And because it's Thursday, here's a picture of our Thursday-Buddy, Emma Claire. Her daddy took this picture of her with our camera and I thought it was so cute.
