We made it back on Sunday night. The drive back was great - no rain, no snow, no ice. It was weird to see snow halfway through Oklahoma, though, and quite a bit of it at that. Our yard and driveway still had (and have) snow and ice too, so I guess we didn't completely miss our first snow of the year.
Sorry we didn't post to tell you we made it back. It seems like everytime we're gone for a bit, it takes a while to get caught up again. Yesterday was a busy day and I forsee the next ones being the same.
The tree is decorated, the mantel has been transformed with garland, berries, and candles, and the stockings are hanging above the fireplace with care (especially since we only have one real stocking holder so the other one is just hanging precariously from a makeshift holder...).
Once I get the dining room decorated I'll post some pictures.
