And...they're off!

We took Mom and Dad to the airport this morning. It's always hard to say goodbye, especially when we don't know when we'll see them again. But we had a good visit: lots of laughs, fun experiences, and of course DRAMA.

Oh, drama...I'm not going to get into because I don't want to steal my dad's thunder, but there for a bit I thought he might just become a permanent resident of our guest room (not that we would have minded, but I don't think Mom was very excited). I just have to say that it included dad and me setting the alarm for 2am to make a call to Portugal. Now doesn't that sound like fun? Anyway, you'll have to check my dad's blog for the story. They're traveling right now, so it may take a few days for him to post.

I wanted to take a picture of them (and us) at the airport -- one last shot -- but with all the hugging, I forgot. So, here...just imagine them traveling all dressed up in fancy clothes :)
