Almost 4:30. Yes. Finally. (I get to leave early to go order some things for an event). Please let the last few minutes go by quickly. Not that I have anything to rush home to besides "The Queen" on DVD, but that's better than sitting at work.

Today I had an experience I never want to have again: a restaurant bumped my group out of a room but didn't call me about it. I found out when I called to give my final numbers for my event on Tuesday only to find out I don't have a room anymore. I could not believe it. Sheesh. And I guess Customer Service is quickly becoming a lost art. The manager was "ok" about the situation, but not as apologetic as I thought he should be (free dessert would have been a nice apology, but nope).

K...off to eat fish & chips. God Bless the Queen.
