Oh my...it's August. I can hardly wrap my mind around it. Except when I walk outside and then I remember that it's August. It's pretty warm.
A couple of weeks ago we went to the park, walked some downtown, took some pictures, and ate ice cream. It was surprisingly non-muggy for a July evening and was nice to get out for a bit.
New students arrive in about 2 weeks and once that happens, we all hit the ground running. It also means that Homecoming is coming around the corner. Oh boy, I'm so not ready - not too far off schedule, but that means I'm not on or ahead of schedule either.
If anybody has any great ideas for decorations, I'm all ears. I have to come up with around 10 different designs/sets of centerpieces that are all different and have less than that number in weeks to come up with all of them...yeah, it being August already is a bit scary.

Hmm here are a couple of links of centerpiece bios I bookmarked back when we were planning our wedding, maybe they can give you some inspiration! Wonder if I can talk Tyler into coming down to JBU for homecoming this year? ;)
