hmm...

I just realized that it's been a week since I posted - you're probably wondering where we've been, if we're ok, or maybe if we've melted. Man it's hot. There was a heat advisory and they weren't kidding. So, it's been too hot to sit over a hot computer and update. Yep...that's my excuse :o)

Well...students get here this week. There are a couple of groups of athletes and leaders on campus so things are picking up. All the new students get here Friday and Saturday and by that point lonely days of summer will be the last thing on our minds. It really does change things around here. It's nice to have them all back.

Unfortunately, most of the shrubs are still in the pots. Because we're digging into uncharted parts of the yard, we had to paint our desired locations and wait for the experts to come paint where all their underground stuff is. Not that I want to be digging anyway. It was warm outside before 7 am this morning. Not unbearable, but warm. Already.

But I can guarantee that come November - February, I'll be griping about how the cold is hurting my bones. And yes, you can remind me of how fickle I am at that time.
