The Amazing Race

That's right...it was all smiles at our house tonight. We had an Amazing Race Premiere party. For those who have never watched the show, it's basically a scavenger hunt around the world, where you have to find clues and complete some tasks. We put a route marker flag just like the ones hanging on the clue boxes in front of our door so that our guests would know that it was our place. Our neighbors were probably wondering what the giant 5 foot piece of paper was doing hanging from our roof!
I didn't get a picture, but Mark was also all smiles because they went to Brazil for the first leg of the race. He's been really wanting to see them go there and they finally did. What's really funny is that we kind of joked about applying to be in the Race. Ends up, we would have actually known the language. Who knows if that would have actually helped us do well, but we thought it was funny.
