Fans

Yesterday, Mark and I went up to Bella Vista to check on our "vacation home." That's what we call it even though it's sitting empty and we're praying that somebody will swoop in and start renting it so we won't have to pay our last 2 months. Anyway, we decided to go to dinner after checking on things.
I won't tell you where we went exactly, but we went to a Chinese restaurant. So, I'm sitting there talking to Mark about the Olympics and all of a sudden I say "There are a lot of fans in this room!" (I'm sure I had a really funny look on my face as I said it, too). Mark did a good job trying to place that comment into context and was wondering how I knew that there were Olympic Fans in the restaurant... By this point, I'm giggling (I must have been tired) and pointing at the ceiling. There were ceiling fans all over the place - installed no more than 4 ft apart. In a room no bigger than 30x15, there were 10 ceiling fans! There were more fans in the other part of the restaurant as well, but I couldn't get a good count of those from where I was sitting.
It was just a really funny situation and I really wanted to take a picture, but didn't think it would be appropriate. I guess you'll just have to come and visit and we'll take you to "The House of Fans."
