There...and back again.

It's been ten days since I posted last. You're all probably wondering what happened to us here.
I haven't posted because I was busy keeping a secret, trying to pull off a surprise, and now trying to recuperate. Now, on to what has happened.
You know those icebreaker games that you have to tell the most exciting or craziest thing you have ever done or tell one of your favorite memories? Up until now I probably had something to say for each one of those, but now I have one that will fit all categories (including tell about a really bad travel experience...).
Here it is - all 4 of us kids went to Portugal to surprise my parents for the celebrations of my Dad's 40 years of ordination. Now you know why I haven't been blogging.
It was a really great trip. It got off to a rocky start with some travel complications, but we all ended up getting there in time to surprise Mom and Dad right before the party that the church had secretly planned (we knew about it, but Mom and Dad didn't). The look on Mom and Dad's face was priceless.
It was fun being all together again. I actually don't remember ever traveling with all my siblings and even though there were a few hiccups along the way, I had a really good time.
I haven't had a chance to get the pics of the camera, but as soon as I do, I'll post some of the weekend.
