After a long trip, we found our hotel and took a nap =o) Priorities, right? Before that, we did have a picnic lunch under the Eiffel Tower.
On this day, we went up the Eiffel Tower, saw the Arc de Triomphe, walked down the Champs d'Elysee, and took a night stroll along the River Seine.

Those colored letters on the Tower say "Paris 2012." We were there when they were still bidding for the 2012 Olympics.

The Eiffel Tower, twinkling at night. It lights up in the evenings and then around 11pm it starts twinkling (it's hard to capture that in a photo).
