Spontaneity

I'm a planner. Yes, that doesn't come as a surprise to any of you, I'm sure. I like to plan things in advance and be as prepared as possible. BUT, I can be spontaneous ever so often. This week is proof.

Tuesday, we found out that Blue Man Group was going to be in Tulsa (a mere 1 1/2 hours away). We've always wanted to go and see them. In fact, when we were in New York City 2 years ago, we thought about seeing them but then walked away after finding out how expensive it would be.

Well, we bought tickets and we're going tonight! I guess now's the time to be spontaneous. Because once kiddo(s) come - no, none are on the way - our brief spouts of spontaneity will end. At least I've got the natural personality of a planner to fall back on.

Please note that I wrote this whole post in blue. Nice, huh?

Also, tomorrow is Mark's birthday. He'll be 36. Ha! Just kidding - but since I'm the one writing this post, I could really have some fun with spreading lies about his age =o)...
