...make apple pie. And I did. 2 of them.
I made apple pies with a crumb topping and will freeze one of them to pull out some day in the future (I'm sure in the *near* future, can't imagine it lasting long in the freezer).
I had never made apple pie and was surprised at how incredibly easy it was. Of course, I cheated and didn't make the pie crust from scratch. I had a busy weekend and didn't really want to mess with that, too. It was still good, even with store bought crust.

I think I prefer store bought crust. I made it myself once and it was SUCH a pain to roll out and it ended up tasting way too salty even though I followed the recipe closely. I didn't peel the apples the first time I made an apple pie and Tyler laughed at me but I still thought it was good!
