Those were my thoughts as I walked into the restroom at a local restaurant last week. I walked in and while it was still dark I could see two pedestal sinks side by side. Hmm, original way to do the double sink concept. I turn the lights on and things just got worse. Two toilets side by side, no walls between each other (or between them and those two pedestal sinks). Now, excuse me, but...why? Needless to say, I locked the door and had first (and only) pick at which one I wanted to use.
In other news...we had a good weekend. We got a lot done and had a great time.
On Friday we went to one of the locations for the Arts & Crafts Festival. They have "booths" spread out all over the area so we went to a convention center to see some of them. I saw a bunch of stuff I don't need and don't want. There were some nice things, too, but not in my price range.
On Saturday, I went shopping with a friend and found some great deals - dress shirts for Mark for $7.60 and $8.00. Yes, that was a proud moment. Mark stayed home and cleaned the cars and mowed the grass...
On Sunday, we did laundry, cleaned house, and organized some closets and the garage. I finally got all my sewing stuff organized so I actually know what fabric and thread I already own. Just a quick tip: when your looking at what thread you have to see if you need to by some new thread for a project, don't forget to look on the sewing machine. I failed to do that once and now I have two spools of red thread. Guess I better do some sewing for Christmas!
And now...it's back to work...it's Monday...and it's rainy and cold...
