For those of you who don't live in our town and watch the news...we're OK.
Tulsa got hit pretty bad but it missed us. They talked about Tulsa on CNN Headline News and I knew that meant my parents (and others, probably) might see something about it and wonder, so decided I would post and say we're alive.
The tornado sirens did go off here in town so we all huddled downstairs in the hallway. The President of the Univ. was in a faculty meeting and he was smart and kind enough to bring the trays of cookies down with him. Heck...if the last thing you're going to eat is a gooey chocolate chip cookie, then things aren't so bad.
We weren't down there long at all. We got the all-clear -- it passed north of us. But seriously, I don't think we were down there long enough. If it had come straight for us I don't know if that siren gave us enough warning. Anyway, what matters is that they did go off and we're all safe here.
