We're not going to grandmother's house, and I hope I don't have to go over a river, or at least in the river, but we are going through the woods, to sleep in the woods.
Now that you are thoroughly confused - we're going camping. There...doesn't sound so exciting put that way, does it? Mark's birthday is on Sunday, so we're going camping and caving and hiking and s'moring and hopefully not freezing. The weather is actually incredibly good for being November and the trees are absolutely beautiful. That's one thing the Ozarks can boast about.
Before we go camping, we're going to a shooting range for a while. It's like the perfect man birthday. Shooting. Sleeping outdoors. Cooking on a tiny portable stove. Caving. We wanted to go fishing too, but that didn't work out.
For those of you who know me - you'll agree that this is major brownie point action for me. I know you're impressed. Camping. In November. Yes, it's my wonderful gift to my husband. He wanted to go camping, so I surprised him with the plans. Deep down, I have to say that I am pretty excited. So when we post pictures they'll be proof on whether or not my excitement stayed alive the whole time.
