No, really...SOLD

Well, technically, not sold...rented! Yep, should have written yesterday's post earlier - maybe this would have happened sooner. We got a phone call this morning saying that there's a renter for the Bella Vista house. They're moving in tomorrow. Yippee!

Several things went through my mind this morning when we heard about this:

• Money - that's right, no more paying for rent AND mortgage AND utilities for two houses (that's huge, people). Actually, the only month we did pay for while we weren't living there was covered by our builder on our new house (long story - it was an incentive for us to move into our house a month earlier). So yeah, no money out on rent.
• Timing - I'm a planner. Actually, I'm a professional planner. But, when it comes to situations like this, my planning expertise does not work. It's all about God's plans and God's timing.
• Rope - as in, being at the end of our rope...On Sunday, when we went to check on the house, we got our bills for water and electric. Yeah, we were almost at the end of our rope, but committed to sticking to our word. God never gives us more than we can handle.
• God is good and faithful.

So, no more identity crises for us - we are officially, and solely, residents of ONE city!
